Appealing to the staff to adopt a positive approach towards people, Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) Chief Officer Angelo Fernandes on Monday also asked the people to help the municipal council to keep the municipality clean.
"I appeal to the MMC staff to reach out to the public who approach us. Give them a correct response. Be public friendly when they visit us. Don't make them come again and again.Our approach should be positive. After all, we are paid by the public. We need to be more sensitive to the needs of the public at large,” said Fernandes.
The chief officer also appealed to the people to segregate their waste into dry and wet waste.
"Let us reach out to the needy and weaker section of society at all times. Let us build a successful society and reflect on some of those initiatives wherein everyone gets the basic necessities of life,” said Fernandes, while wishing all his staff and people of Vasco on the festive season.
