Rudreshwar temple at Harvalem will be celebrating the last Shravani Somvar on September 6. The Rudrabhishek will be performed by the chairman of the Devasthan, Yashwant Madkar at 5.30 am and the Muktadwar Mahaparvani will be distributed at 12 noon. The mahajans of the temple, devotees and the public will perform Sagrahmakh Rudrayag and Deviyag at 8 am along with the secretary of the Devasthan Subhash Narsingh Kinalkar. At 12 noon Santil Kundaikar will perform Archya Shuddhi. After this the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Sakhali MLA and the local residents will be present for the maha-aarti. Thereafter garanhe, tirtha prasad and mahaprasad will be distributed. A bhajan programme will be at 6-8 pm and the palkhi procession will be held at 8 pm with the host Prakash Naik. The day’s programme will be complete with aarti and tirtha-prasad.
