The State of Goa has embarked upon a landmark journey of celebrating 60 years of its liberation by organizing three conclaves as part of ‘Celebration of Democracy’. The Government of Goa is hosting a number of conclaves and parallel functions under the theme, “Celebrating Democracy”.These conclaves are organized by Goa Legislative Assembly, conducted by MIT School of Government (SOG), Pune, and supported by Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad. It will be conducted from November 8 to 12 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Dona Paula by MIT School of Government. The Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant is the Chief Patron and Rajesh Patnekar, the Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly is the Chairman and Rahul Karad is the Convener of all three conclaves. National Women’s Parliament (NWP) to be held on November 7 and 8 which aims at women empowerment. National Youth Parliament (NYP) will be held on November 9 and 10. National Panchayat Parliament, Goa (NPP) which will be held on November 11,
