Benaulim started its Living Happily with Diabetes club on Friday under the Nave Marg Foundation. Royla Fernandes welcomed the gathering on behalf of Cana Benaulim Sporting Club for the launch of 23rd Living Happily with diabetes club under Nave Marg Foundation. Dr Celso Fernandes, founder of Nave Marg Foundation, addressed the gathering of senior citizens, diabetics, and women, stressing that diabetes is the root cause of all other diseases. He explained that diabetes is selfmade lifestyle disease, not a viral or contagious disease, adding that it's not even hereditary, but a lifestyle disease. Lack of exercise, poor dietary habits and a lot of mental stress are the main causes of Diabetes, he said adding that all these issues are taken care of through Living Happily with Diabetes Clubs. Benaulim Panch member Genciana Baretto Colaco was present with Benaulim Sarpanch Xavier Fernandes.
