National Cadet Corps (NCC) is an institution that plays a vital role in teaching the students about the nation and our role in nation building, said the Governor of Goa, Bhagat Singh Koshyari. He was speaking after felicitating NCC cadets of Goa and Karnataka at Raj Bhavan today. The function was organised by the NCC DTE Karnataka and Goa, NCC, GP, HQ, Belagavi and other affiliated organisations. The Governor said, “NCC provides a platform for youth in developing their personality and imbibe upon them the importance of discipline in life”. He stressed the need for well disciplined, well characterised people to lead and take our nation ahead and appreciated the Cadets for opting NCC.
At the Republic Day, 2021 the NCC contingent of Goa and Karnataka stood at 4th place. Koshyari presented cadets with mementoes on this occasion, followed by the cadets sharing their experiences.
