OLD GOAFive panchas of Corlim panchayat have moved a no-confidence motion against the Sarpanch Viresh Assolkar and Deputy Sarpanch Freeda Po. The panchas consist of Goraknath Kerkar, Supriya Kerkar, Kashinath Gaonkar, Baptist Pereira and Chandrashekar Kankonkar. Among the reasons cited for the no-confidence motion include not taking the panchas into confidence on development and other activities of the panchayat, failing to act against illegal construction and failure in discharging duties as per Panchayat Act.
