Goa recorded nil Covid deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 68 additional deaths that occurred during August 2020 to June 2021, which were allegedly reported late from South Goa District Hospital (Margao), were added to the Covid mortality count by DHS to its daily media bulletin of Covid stats and due to this, the mortality count that was 3,219 on Sept 14 had jumped to 3,289 on Sept 15. The recovery rate was 97.72 % with 96 recovered patients and 95 new positive cases, 699 active cases and five patients were discharged from hospitals.
