Pedda Warriors beat St Anthony’s RomaLuiza 5-3 in the penalty shootout to march into the semi-finals of the Bab Bakery Cup 8-a-side football tournament in memory of Anthony Fernandes organised by Bab Bakery Boys, at Ximu Moll Ground, Benaulim on Thursday. Both the teams played attacking football and Vellington broke the deadlock for St Anthony’s. Buoyed by the lead, Remedios scored the second goal. Crossing over, Pedda Warriors fired all cylinders and Alex reduced the margin while Bersel drew 2-2. Pedda Warriors had the last laugh in the penalties.
