Para table tennis tournament at Fatorda on Feb 11

PANAJI: The South Goa District Table Tennis Council in association with Para Table Tennis Committee of the Goa Table Tennis Association and the Sports Authority of Goa will organise the All Goa Para table tennis tournament on February 11 from 9:30 am, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda. The tournament will be held in Para categories of standing and wheelchair. Submit entry to Vishant Nagwekar (9850930415) by Feb 9.

MARGAO: Navelim Villagers Union registered a solitary goal victory over Guardian Angel SC and moved to the quarter-finals of the Wilred Leisure trophy, organised by Wilred Leisure Sports Club, at DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.Milroy Clemente of Guardian Angel missed a chance to score in the sixth minutes. It was Nash Pereira of Navelim who netted the match-winner in the 14th minute.Velington Almeida of Navelim Villagers Union was presented the man-of-the-match award.
