CANACONA: Pedem Boys, Agonda Boys, Palolem Boys advanced after defeating Karvem Boys, Mallikarjun Boys, SFX Bhatpal in the Agonda village panchayat taluka “ level football tournament, at SAG ground, Agonda.
In the matches played so far Pedem (Loliem) Boys defeated Saptakoteshwar Boys, Karvem (Gaondongrim) 3-0, while in the same and identical margin Agonda Boys defeated Mallikarjun Boys Gaondongrim.
In the fourth match of the tournament, SFX Bhatpal held Palolem Boys to a draw in the full match time only to go down by 3-4 with eventually Palolem Boys emerged winners in the penalty shoot-out.
Pedem Boys will clash with Canacona U17 while Agonda Boys will fight it out with Palolem Boys in the semi-finals.
