PANAJI: PES’s RSN College of Arts and Science signed Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa recently.
A brief presentation about PES college was made by Dr Ranjita Sawaiker highlighting the vision, mission, academic programmes, achievements, availability of infrastructure for research, ongoing/completed funded research projects, research centres and recognised research guides, whereas Dr Firoz Badesab (Alumnus of PES college and Senior Scientist CSIR-NIO) made a presentation highlighting areas like capacity building, resources, internship, dissertation programmes, joint research programmes where in NIO can contribute after establishing MoU.
Principal Prof VJ Pissurlekar spoke about the journey of PES college from 1986 to 2023 highlighting the progress made by the institution in various fields over a period of 37 years.
