The Popular Front of India on Wednesday launched an ‘Election Awareness Campaign’ to educate the voters and ensure that the demands of the voters are on the priority list of the political parties and the candidates. As part of the election awareness campaign, PFI members will meet the local Mohalla leaders in every ward of various constituencies and encourage them to get involved in mainstream politics and get the pulse, demands and concerns of its voters and accumulate those demands and represent them in front of their respective aspiring candidates.
PFI leaders said the agenda is to create awareness amongst the voters and make sure that their demands are the priority on the manifesto of political parties. “Our support will vary from constituency to constituency. We shall present the requirements constituency wise to their respective candidates. We will ensure that those demands are incorporated in their manifesto and document it,” the leaders said.
