The Panjim Gymkhana T20 Cricket League (PGML), a one-of-a-kind T-20 tourney is set to kick off this weekend with the inaugural match being played between Manas Mavericks and Baale Tigers on the morning of January 8.
The matches which are scheduled to be held over the weekend will witness five teams battle for supremacy in the league, which will be played in a round-robin format.
The inaugural match will see Manas Mavericks take on Baale Tigers on January 8 in the morning followed by Dempo Challengers taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half of the day. On January 9, LPK 11 will meet Prescon Panthers in the first half while Manas Mavericks will clash with Dempo Challengers in the latter half of the day.
The action resumes on January 15 with Dempo Challengers meeting Manas Mavericks in the first half of the day and Baale Tigers taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half.
On Jan 16, LPK 11 will meet Manas Mavericks in the first half while Baale Tigers will go head-to-head with Dempo Challengers on the pitch.
LPK 11 will meet Dempo challengers on Jan 22 in the first half followed by Manas Mavericks taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half. Jan 23 will witness teams clash on the pitch to win a position in the qualifying segments.
Qualifying matches are scheduled on January 23 and 29 before the grand finale on January 30 where the titans will clash to win the coveted T20 Cricket League title.
