Apropos to the "In Siddhi case, media persons raise the morality code, TMC's women delegation raises objection" (The Goan Everyday January 6, 2021). In the days leading up to Goa Assembly elections, TMC is capturing Goa's imagination with its hard work to help the youths and women of Goa. The main highlight of Goa TMC is its trust in women leaders. It is heartening to see the women leaders of TMC leading the protest march to the police station and giving an ultimatum to police to track down the killers within 24 hours. This attracts many young women leaders to Goa TMC's fold.
Yesterday an extremely dynamic leader from Sanguem Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik resigned from the grand old party and joined TMC. What attracted her to Goa TMC? She could have joined any party. But she chose Goa TMC for obvious reasons that Goa TMC believes in women empowerment and it fights for the justice for women. Rakhi will change the face of Sanguem and usher in a new dawn for Sanguem if given the ticket to contest the elections. It is a good sign for Goa to see talented women leaders with clean images flocking to TMC.
