Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in view of the inauguration of Mopa International Airport and the closing ceremony of 9th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo on December 11, all owners of barges, passenger launches, ferry boats, fishing trawlers and operators of mechanised/non-mechanised crafts including tourist boats, cruise boats etc (and those engaged in essential services) are warned not to navigate in the Mandovi river beyond the Western side of the Mandovi Bridges and in the Zuari river. Violations of the above shall be viewed seriously.
