PANAJIAs a prelude to the National Fire Service Day on April 14, the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services is launching a series of activities to enhance the level of awareness among the citizens with stress on school children. The national theme for the year is ‘Learn Fire Safety, Increase Productivity’ and as a part of this awareness campaign an all Goa poster competition is organised for the primary and middle school children of the State on April 3 at 10 am. The competition is divided into two groups, and for group I (7-10 years) the topic is ‘School Fire Safety’ and for group II (11-14 years) the topic is ‘Fire Safety Planning’. The participants will have to report to the venues of the competition at 10 am.
