PANAJI: The Quitula Sports and Cultural Club, Aldona, conducted the “All Goa Individual Singing Competition” at the Club Hall on October 1 at 4.30 pm.
The chief guest at the function was Aldona Sarpanch Ashwin D’Souza, while the guest of honour was Dr Akshay Batra. Judges at the competition were Alex Braganza, Sameer Gadhekar and Krish Moitra.
Winners in the Sub-Juniors Category were Aashna Naik, Dona Paula (first), Micaiah Mascarenhas, Aldona (second), Chrysanthe Parras, Aldona (third) and Jacob Gonsalves, Aldona (consolation).
Winners in the Juniors Category were Anaya Rathod, Margao (first), Shaunak Otavanekar, St. Cruz (second), Deetya Durgesh Shirwaiker, Quepem (third) and Caryn Mascarenhas, Aldona (consolation).
Winners in the Seniors Category were Shubham Naik, Canacona (first), Vipin Vaigankar, Bicholim (second), Swapnil U. Gaonkar, Vasco (third) and Sarvesh Ghatwal, Poira (consolation).
The Voice of Aldona award was bagged by Jolissa Mascarenhas, Aldona.
