MARGAO: Host Raia Sporting Club secured a dramatic 3-2 penalty shootout victory over Don Bosco Oratory of Fatorda to advance to the final of the 51st Custodio Memorial Inter-Village Football Tournament.
The match ended goalless after regulation time, forcing a penalty shootout. Joswel Cardozo, Klins Mendes, and Silvano Oliveira converted for Raia, while Roque Borges and Clencio Pinto scored for Fatorda.
Jack Madeira of Raia was named the Player of the Match and was awarded by Inacina Quadros, former Panch of VP Raia.
