PANAJI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Panaji Regional Office, organised a quiz titled “Are You Account (Able...?)” on February 10 at Goa Business School as part of Financial Literacy Week 2026, held from February 9 to 13. The campaign theme was “KYC “ Your First Step to Safe Banking”.
The quiz aimed to improve awareness of Know Your Customer (KYC) norms among undergraduate students. Sandra Rodrigues, DGM, Financial Inclusion and Development Department, said financial literacy and KYC awareness are important for young professionals.
Students from non-technical colleges under the Directorate of Higher Education, Goa, took part. After a preliminary round, six teams entered the final. VVM’s Shree Damodar College won, followed by Parvatibai Chowgule College and Goa Multi Faculty College.
