MARGAO: Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna scored a commanding 7-0 win over Fr Agnel YSC Paroda to move to the quarter-finals of the Basilio Andrade Memorial tournament, organised by Associacao Academica de Majorda-Utorda-Calata, at Musson ground, Majorda.
The scoring spree began with Noel Dsilva, who found the back of the net with a weak long shot that eluded the keeper's grasp and rolled into the goal.
Savio Fernandes extended their lead with a brilliant one-two play with a teammate, culminating in a precise shot that sailed past the keeper and into the net. The third goal came courtesy of Cristo De Melo, who unleashed a long-range shot that curved past the keeper.
