MARGAO: Ugem Rising Club registered a solitary goal victory over SCC Loutolim to move to the semi-finals of the 19th Uguem Rising Club Soccer Trophy, organised by Ugem Rising Club, at Ugem ground, on Wednesday
Flager Moraes of Loutolim missed a chance to score in the ninth minute. It was Suraj Gaonkar of Ugem who netted the match winner in the 68th minute. With just few minutes left for the final whistle, Loutolim's Vslencio Gomes power-packed shot hit the rival cross bar and went out of play.
The man-of-the-match trophy was presented to Suraj Gaonkar of Ugem Rising Club by Felix Carvalho Ex football player of Uguem Rising Club.
