Salgaocar FC U-13 and U-15 selection trials

MARGAO: Salgaocar FC will conduct selection trials for their U-13 and U-15 teams from June 3 to 6, at Chowgule Astro Turf ground, Gogol, Margao from 4 pm to 5 pm.

The trials for the U-13 team will be held on June 3 and 4 whereas the U-15 team trials will be held on June 5 & 6. The cut off year will be 2012-13 for boys U-13 while 2010-2011 for boys U-15.

Interested participants should report at the venue with full playing kits along with Aadhaar card and original birth certificate.

Venkatesh bags Eng Francis memorial award

PANAJI Venkatesh Siddhesh Prabhu Dessai, student of Std XII Arts at  Presentation Convent HSS, Fatorda scored 378 marks in April 2024 exam. He received Eng Francis Bomdin Lopes memorial award of Rs 10,000 with citation.The award was founded by the family under PC Trust.The award is for the ward of the employees of Pradeep Phospate  Ltd, Utility Dept, wherein Francis served.Venkatesh is the son of Siddhesh and Premala Prabhu Dessai.
