Samraat Club Mayem organised sitar vadan workshop, in joint collaboration with Samraat club Marcel & Samraat Club Bicholim at Deendayal Hall, Bicholim on May 18. The main faculty for the workshop was Laxmikant Khandekar, an eminent sitar vadak. The president of Samraat Club Mayem Adv Ajay Prabhugaonkar welcomed the audience and the participants. The dignitaries who graced the event included President of Samraat Club Marcel Mangesh Gaonkar, Shridhar Mayenkar, President of SC Bicholim, Aavin Naik, Past President of SCI State-1, founder President of SC Mayem Kalidas Kavlekar, Block President Ravindra Panjikar, Shekhar Naik, Ramchandra Garde and Babuso Gaonkar. The workshop was conducted with the aim to facilitate maximum students interested in sitar vadan. Participants from various parts of the state participated in the workshop and took the guidance of Laxmikant Khandekar. The programme coordinator for the workshop was Naresh Pednekar. Harsha Kauthankar anchored the entire programme. The Secretary of Samraat Club Mayem Dnyaneshwar Borkar delivered vote of thanks.
