Shree Siddhivinayak temple, Sanguem to celebrate 25th anniversary today

Shree Siddhivinayak Devasthan at Kongarebhati Sanguem will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on March 6 with various religious rituals and musical programmes. The locals would be gathering for bhajan at 7 pm and a Konkani play 'Achanak' will be staged at 10.30 pm on day one. On day two (March 7) there will be cultural programmes at 7 pm, auction of fruits and flowers offered to the deity at 10 pm. Thereafter a Konkani play 'Aami na Kami' written by Mahesh Nayak and directed by Ajit Mandal will be staged for the audience.

Child artiste Ansika Naik to perform on Goa Doordarshan on March 10

THE GOAN NETWORKPANAJIChild artiste Ansika Changdev Naik will perform natya geet gayan on Goa Doordarshan on March 10. The class 9 student of Ideal High School Pilgaon is the grand-daughter of veteran Goan bhajani kalakar late Dhondu Bhiku Naik. Known for her acting talent, Ansika will be accompanied on harmonium by Changdev Naik and on tabla by Raj Madgaonkar. The programme has been produced by the programme officer Rajendra Narcinvha Phadte.
