Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shripad Naik laid the foundation stone of Nagar Van (City Forest), a project of Tourism Ministry, GOI at Bhaderwah, Jammu on Thursday
Naik, who is on a two-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir, inspected the various tourist spots at Jai Valley, Bhaderwah. He also had an interaction with officers, PRIs, nomadic representatives and the general public, states a press release.
The Minister then took part in cultural events held to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava at Jai Valley, Bhaderwah. Naik also took plantation drive and clean India campaign and Swachhta Pledge. After laying the foundation stone, Naik departed for Teligarh, Bhaderwah and took part in a meeting with Deputation, the release added.
