The Directorate of Social Welfare will felicitate 14 outstanding senior citizens above the age group of 70 on the occasion of “International Day for the Senior Citizen” on October 1, 2021, at the State Level function. One senior citizen from a smaller taluka and two senior citizens from a bigger taluka will be selected for felicitation.
Interested senior citizens (above 70 years of age) may apply in the prescribed application form with their bio-data along with the testimonials (in soft and hard copy/CD) and one passport size photo to the Director, Directorate of Social Welfare, 18th June road, Panaji on or before September 15, 2021. Application received after the due date will not be entertained, states a press release.
