MARGAO: St Anthony’s SC, Assolda beat Parish Youth Nuvem 6-5 via the tie-breaker to enter in the quarter-finals of the Martin’s Cup football tournament, at Betalbatim ground. Joaquim Carvalho and Welson Fernandes scored for Assolda while Francis Colaco and Melvin Fernandes found the net for PY Nuvem in the regulation time.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Soccur Fernandes, Rizbon Fernandes, Vicky Fernandes and Valento Fernandes netted for St Anthony’s SC Assolda while Floton Fernandes, Frazer Miranda and Cedar Colaco found the mark for PY Nuvem.
