MAPUSAThe Super Star circus has come to town after almost two years hiatus due to Covid and will be entertaining people for the next 40 days with three shows on a daily basis. The inaugural show will take place on Tuesday (Dec 20) at 7 pm where Mapusa Chairperson Shubhangi Vaigankar will be the chief guest. The circus has come up near the open fields opposite the Shree Bodgeswar Temple and near the Gandhi Chowk, Mapusa. The organisers claimed that acrobatic stunts will be the highlight of the show. Besides, there will be various other artists performing to regale the audience for around a two-hour show. The shows are slotted at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm daily. “Since animals are banned from performing at the circus we will be focusing on gymnastics, motorbike stunt and other allied performances. We expect a good response from the public after a gap of almost two years,” said Prakash Mane, owner of the Super Star circus.
