On behalf of all the fraternity and tiatr lovers, Tiatr Academy of Goa deeply condoles the death of Antonio Inacio Joao De Souza popularly known as Trio-King Anthony, and expresses heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family and pray that the Almighty may give his Soul eternal peace.
Antonio hailed from Cansaulim and was born on March 28, 1936. He is one of the founder members of the once-famous “Conception-Nelson-Anthony” Trio. He left for heavenly abode on January 28, 2021. Anthony was first seen on the Konkani stage in 1954 in the tiatr “Mogacho Irmao”. From then on, he was seen regularly in many tiatrs.
