PANAJI: Meet John Vaz alias Marcus Vaz and Maria Fatima Da Costa at TAG’s ‘Meet the Tiatr Artiste’ programme on March 31.

Tiatr Academy of Goa invites artistes of repute to interact with their fans/followers and other tiatr loving people. Such a meeting helps the audience to know more in detail about the artiste. It also helps TAG to create documentation for its library in order to preserve it for posterity.

All the lovers of Tiatr and fans of John Vaz alias Marcus Vaz and Maria Fatima Da Costa are requested to attend the said programme and interact with these artistes. The programme will be anchored by a well-known Tiatr personality Daniel F de’Souza.

Youth dies in road mishap at Cortalim

VASCOA youth was killed in a road mishap at Cortalim on Monday evening. Sources said the incident took place as the deceased, Vishal Borana (24) of Mundvel-Vasco, was riding his bike from Vasco to Cortalim. "As he reached near the Cortalim junction, he was knocked down by an oncoming KTC bus which was coming from Cortalim to Vasco,” said the source. Verna police is carrying out further investigation.
