National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) India will be opening a Tobacco Cessation Clinic (TCC) on the occasion of World Cancer Day, February 4 at 11.30 am at OPD room, Manipal Hospital, Dona Paula. Noted Goan singer Hema Sardesai will be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony and will also felicitate cancer survivors after that. The felicitation of cancer survivors will also be a part of TCC opening which will be at 12 noon at the conference hall on the 2nd floor.
The TCC clinic will offer services like tobacco abuse screening, pharmacotherapy, tobacco cessation, counselling, hand-holding, teleconsultation, cotinine monitoring, CO monitoring, follow up and IEC, NRT and harm reduction.
