Monsoon Trekking Expedition by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will be conducted at Tambdi Surla on July 2. The expedition will also include a visit to the famous Shiva temple at Tambdi Surla which is carved out of a single rock. The trek might take little more than 90 minutes depending on the steep ascent. One needs to be physically fit to undertake this trek. The charge per head is Rs 1200 which is inclusive of lunch, transport and guiding. Transport will leave from Mapusa Residency at 7.15 am and from Margao Residency at 7 am. Reporting at Paryatan Bhavan, Panjim is at sharp 7.45 am. Pick-up facility is also available from Old Goa, Banasthari, Farmagudi and Ponda.
