PANAJI: Goa Mavericks Sports Club will organize a six-a-side instant hockey tournament for registered clubs at Peddem practice Astro turf ground, Mapusa, on May 11.
The tournament is open for 40 plus players, with those born on or before 01.01.1984 are eligible to take part, the only exception being goalkeepers, who may be of any age boys /Men or girls/women.
Each team shall comprise of 5 players and one goalkeeper on the field and 3 substitutes i.e a total of 9 players in each team. The entry fee is Rs 1,000 per team. The last date for receiving entries is May 4. The tournament shall be played under floodlights.
