Vikas Parishad Mandre organised a summer camp for children in the age group of 3 to 10 years on April 4. Dr Pratiksha Khalap, Administrator of Vikas Parishad, Chairman Ad Ramakant Khalap, Secretary Narayan Naik and Principal of Mandre College Professor Tushar Anvekar were present for the inauguration ceremony of the camp along with the teachers of the new English primary school and other college staff. Around 70 children registered for the camp. The summer camp was held for 10 days to help the children regain emotions like compassion and empathy for fellow beings after spending time indoors on gadgets for two years due to the pandemic. The camp also taught the children the importance of helping others, discipline and being a part of society.
