The Directorate of Art and Culture has announced the Yuva Srujan Puraskar (Navsarjan-Chetana Puraskar) for the year 2022-13 and this year six young personalities are selected for this award that consists of a memeto, certificate of appreciation and a financial purse of Rs 25,000. The award is being given as a recognition to the young Goan artists par excellence for their outstanding achievements in the field of music, dance, drams, tiatr, folk art, creative photography, painting, craft, sculpture, bhajan, kirtan, literature and film.
The six awardees of this year are Yatin U Shenvi Talaulikar for music (Salcete), Aarti Deepak Gaude for drama (Ponda), Meena Helon Goes for tiatr (Salcete), Mahesh A Satarkar for folk art (Ponda), Vasudev Shetye for fine art (Pernem) and Ganesh Shankar Shetkar for photography (Sattari).
