‘The Soul of the People’ to be screened today

With the closing of the celebration of Dia Mundial Da Língua Portuguesa (Portuguese Language World Day) on May 7, Camões CLP, Panaji will be having the last screening, Batuque “ a Alma de um Povo (Batuque - The Soul of the People), as part of ‘Africa in Docs’ at 5 pm. To end the evening from 6-8 pm, Camões will have a music recital titled ‘Sonoridades Lusófonas’ (Lusophone Sounds) with the incomparable guitarists “ performers, Franz Schubert Cotta and Siddarth Cota along with the talented singer Naisa Lotlekar. This will be followed by a socialising party with the renowned author and poet, José Luís Peixoto.
