PANAJI: The tourism committee of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) and Goa Heritage Action Group together are organising a Walks Festival “ Know your city on March 19 to help locals reconnect to their history and heritage and to create in them a sense of ownership and pride in their inheritance. The inaugural walk will be flagged off by the Mayor, CCP Rohit Monseratte and president, GCCI Ralph De Sousa from Panaji Post office at 7.15 am. The walk is for one hour beginning from Panaji Post office via Sao Tomé “ Fountainhas, with a stop at 31 January Bakery for breakfast. The walk is open for all the citizens of Panaji and GCCI director Pallavi Arondekar has appealed to all to join it.
