Expressing difficulty in running the affairs in the office due to lack of staff, Administrator of Comunidades, North Goa, Shivprasad Naik said that he has appointed some staff on daily wages to fill in the vacuum.
“I find it difficult to manage the office. Whatever staff we have in the office are either temporary or on contract. I have now taken some staff on daily wages to run the show. But this cannot be a permanent solution and we have to find a way out,” Naik said.
He said some of the staff have been working for almost 18 to 20 years and were drawing a meagre salary of around Rs 23,000 per month.
