PANAJI

Reacting to severe criticism over imposition of Section 144, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant clarified that these restrictions are not applicable for religious functions and traditional Shigmotsav.

“Section 144 is applicable for public roads and other public places. But people can go ahead with their activities in private properties by following Covid related restrictions,” said Sawant.
