Two motor pumps and some electrical and plumbing equipment were burgled from an apartment belonging to the Goa Housing Board (GHB) at Madel-Tivim.
GHB Executive Engineer S D Gaonkar lodged a complaint at Colvale police station stating that the incident occurred sometime between December 27 and January 3.
The GHB had kept these electrical and plumbing equipment in one of the bedrooms at this residential complex.
The suspects broke into the building by breaking open iron gate on the terrace of the building and entered the apartment by breaking the window glass.
The Colvale police have registered an offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 IPC and PI Bharat Kharat is investigating the matter.
