Minister for State for Railways and Textiles Darshana Jardosh arrived in Goa on Sunday evening while former Maharastra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is reaching on Monday morning to conduct talks with local BJP leaders and committee members of the party.
"Jardosh and Fadnavis along with other heads of various BJP committees will conduct indoor meetings", said BJP state President Sadananad Shet Tanavade.
The outstation leaders are likely to assess the party workers opinion on the names of probable candidates from different constituencies.
The BJP has already declared that the election will fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and and Sadanand Shet Tanavade as the BJP state President. However, some sections in the BJP still want changes in leadership.
Some old leaders are not comfortable with the influx of leaders who have shifted to BJP from Congress.
The assessment of leaders from other parties who have shifted to BJP will also be conducted.
The outcome of the meeting will be crucial for finalisation of the team and strategy before the assembly polls.
