District authorities, including the office of the South Goa District Collector and Deputy Collector, Margao, are yet to invite representatives of the organizations spearheading the ongoing anti-track doubling and coal transportation agitation.
Nothing has been heard from the office of the Collector or the Deputy Collector on the application made by the representatives of these organizations to the latter in the wee hours of Monday last at the Chandor police outpost.
Leaders of the Goyant Kollso Naka have been following up on the matter with the office of the Deputy Collector Jyoti Kumari for the last three days.
GKN Co-convenor Abhijit Prabhudesai said when he tried to call the Deputy Collector Kumari on Wednesday, there was no reply from the officer.
