Margao police on Thursday arrested a native of Odisha after he was caught red-handed with possession of 3.5 kilograms of Ganja.

Margao police station in-charge, PI Tulsidas Naik informed that accused Bullu Maji, S/o Zambir Maji, age 25 years, unemployed, resident of Village Kankri, Kalhandi district, Odisha, was caught red-handed in the wee hours of Thursday near Sulabh Toilet, Malbhat-Margao as he was found in illegal possession of 3.5 kg of greenish colour fruiting and flowering tops of plants suspected to be Ganja.

The value of the seized drugs is pegged around Rs 3.5 lakh.
