Following requests from the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC), the electricity department has committed to undertaking the repair of market roads in Mapusa.
“We will restore all the roads in the market with full grout. At least the problem of dust pollution will reduce considerably. The work is expected to begin in the next ten days,” a power department official informed.
The MMC had requested the power department to take up the restoration of the market roads on top priority as people were inconvenienced.
The MMC had urged the power department to prioritize the restoration of market roads, considering the significant inconvenience experienced by the public.
