New Year began on a sombre note for former chief minister and Poriem MLA Pratapsingh Rane and his wife, Vijayadevi Rane, when they both tested positive for Covid-19.
Confirming this in a tweet late Friday night, Health Minister stated, “I would like to inform the people of Goa that my father Pratapsingh Rane (former CM of Goa & MLA Poriem constituency) and my mother, Vijayadevi Rane, have both tested positive for Covid-19. They are under the supervision of our team of doctors headed by Dr Bandekar at GMC.”
