Vasco DySP, PI transferred

Following the incidents of clashes at Vasco yesterday night, Goa govt yesterday transferred DySP Salim Shaikh and appointed DySP Nilesh Rane as SDPO, Vasco. PI Nitin Halarnkar has also been transferred from Vasco police station.

Halarnkar has been replaced by PI Kapil Nayak. Both Shaikh and Halarnkar have been asked to report to SP Training in GRP. Both Rane and Nayak have been asked to report to their new place of attachment on Monday itself.
