PERNEM: A 33-year-old man from Delhi was arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 86,000 at Arambol on Friday night.
According to Mandrem Police Inspector Gajendra Naik, a police team conducted a raid at about 8.30 near a restaurant in Arambol.
During the raid, the accused, Manish Rathod, a native of North East Delhi but currently residing at Arambol, was nabbed with 868 grams of ganja valued at about Rs 86,800. A two-wheeler was also seized from him.
He was later arrested in this connection and Mandrem police are conducting further investigations.
