TCS donates ventilator to Manipal Hospitals

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company, donated a portable ventilator, Triology EV300, to Manipal Hospitals Goa recently in the presence of Manish Trivedi, Aditya Gosawi, Vinay Shet and Srivinas Chilagani. 

The ventilator caters to enhanced operations in both non-invasive (NIV) and invasive (IV) ventilation. It is used for internal shifting of patients between the wards, inter hospital transfer of patients on ventilator, and in standalone ICU’s. 

Explaining about the donation, Pandurang Salgaonkar – Senior Manager HR and Digamber Nagvekar – Head Quality Assurance said,”We went ahead with a unique decision of donating a portable ventilator because it was during the time of pandemic ventilators were required the most, especially in cases with COVID pneumonia, when patients have difficulty in breathing. This is the need of the hour with the third wave of COVID hitting us. We are more than glad to donate portable ventilator to Manipal Hospitals because of their consistent efforts and committed service in treating patients from across the state.”

Expressing his gratitude, Manish Trivedi, Hospital Director - Manipal Hospitals, Goa said “We are extremely thankful for the generous donation by Tata Consultancy Services. We are glad that Tata Consultancy Services chose Manipal Hospital.”
