CANACONA
Three laptops belonging to three tourists from Madhya Pradesh were stolen from a guest house at Devabhag, Canacona. The robbery is believed to have occured between the New Year's eve and early next morning.
According to Canacona police, unknown accused persons affected entry into the unlocked dormitory room at Micasa By The Meadows Guest House, Devabhag, Canacona between 22.00 hrs of December 31 and 03.30 hrs of January 1 and committed theft of 3 laptops of different makes totally worth Rs1,80,000 approximately.
Tushar Turkar, resident of Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, reported to police that his laptop Apple Pro 13, and Apple Air 13 and Lenovo Thinkpad E 14 G5 laptops belonging to Adarsh Anand and Mohit Zindal, respectively are stolen.
In the second FIR in New Year 2026, Canacona police have regusted the criminal offence u/s 331(4), 305 of BNS 2023, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Ajit Velip of Canacona Police Station.
