the goan I networkrPANAJIrrAccording to IPB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashton Godinho, ‘closed’ in this case means that these projects can’t happen anymore. In some cases, they can’t materialise in the form they were approved by the IPB.rGodinho explained, “In some of these cases, the investor is no more, while, in some other cases, investors are not responding, when we try getting in touch with them. There are also few cases wherein we couldn’t provide the investors with the land he had asked for.”rDuring the tenure of the previous state government, the IPB had cleared 150 projects overall. Since 10 of them are closed, it means that 140 projects will now materialise in the state.rOf the remaining 140 projects, Godinho informed that there are 21 projects, where government will have to give more support to the investor.
